The draw will be sent out as soon as possible and emailed to riders.

$40 – (plus $10 First Aid Levy) for this event only

Awards – Dressage

Official Classes – Trophies to Overall 1st – 3rd Place, Ribbons to 1st – 6th Place.
Unofficial Classes – Medallions to Overall 1st – 3rd Place, Ribbons to 1st – 6th Place. Highest Overall Score – Championship Rug for the Zone 1 rider with the highest overall points from the Official Classes (only classes with 3 or more riders are eligible for this award).
Overall Champion for both the Dressage and Combined Training – Premium Dressage Saddle pad – The eligible rider must have competed in Official classes inn both events.
 
Queensland Off the Track Horses
Highest Percentage Rider in each of the categories of 12 and Under, over 13 and under 26 and Seniors receives a Premium Dressage Saddle Pad and the Second Highest Percentage Rider in those categories receives a  $75 Aitkens Saddlery voucher
Highest Performance for a Horse and Rider combination over both tests any age receives a Premium Dressage Saddle Pad and a $100 Aitkens Saddlery voucher.

Clubs are reminded that this is a Zone event, and they must supply two workers for the SETUP OF DRESSAGE ARENAS & the showjumping arena at 9am Saturday 31 May. Workers to nominate online. Failure to attend this working bee will result in the club riders competing HC.

Competition Day

Clubs are to supply 1 worker for each 3 riders or part thereof on the day of the competition. Jobs will include but not limited to penciling, gate and rail stewards and gear check.”

Rules

Rules for this competition will be those published in the latest PCQ RULES FOR DRESSAGE & COMBINED TRAINING JANUARY 2025” rulebook;

Mounts

The mount should be the member’s normal pony club mount and regularly ridden to Pony Club. Riders currently competing in a graded class or Official 12 years and under cannot ride a graded / Official 12 years and under horse in an unofficial section.

Two Horse Rule

Riders may enter 2 horses in the same or different heights. Each horse may gain qualifying results. Each horse will be placed in its class and is eligible for overall awards.

Protests

Must be in writing within 30 minutes of incident, accompanied by $50. Only the owner, his authorised agent, or the rider of the horse taking part in the competition is entitled to lodge a protest. Disputes committee to consist of PCAQ Technical Delegate, Chief Steward and One Judge.

Reservation of Rights

The Organisers reserve the right:
(a) to cancel any class or event.
(b) to divide any class
(c) to alter the advertised times
(d) to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason
(e) to transfer competitors between sections of a class
(f) to combine classes if less than 3 competitors,

BioSecurity

In the event of horse movement restrictions, each participant will be responsible for the care, maintenance and cost of their horse/horses. Including and not limited to feeding, watering and vet cost for the time of the restrictions
