  • Rugs for the 1st place getter in each Championship class. 
  • Trophy for runner up place getter in each Championship Class . 

  • Zone perpetual trophies for zone 1 eligible riders and clubs 
  • Best presented - 1st place overall rug.
  • Runner up trophy 
  • Rein drill - 1st place overall rug.
  • Runner up trophy. 
  • Club pairs carry no points for individual placing or for  "Perpetual Trophy Club Highest Points", ribbons will be awarded

ALL EVENTS WILL BE HELD IN THE CLOSED ARENA

 

JUDGE WILL DETERMINE IF A RIDER IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EVENT.

 

Riders must be either on led line or just off the lead and need assistance to maintain a degree of safety whilst mounted through all events.

Terms & Conditions

  • Nominations

    • Cost: $35 (including $5 Levy for Paramedics)
    • Close of Nominations: Friday 22nd April, 2018
    • All Nominations via this web site.
  • General Conditions

    No Rider will be permitted to enter Formal events once the class has begun judging.
    2. Late nomination fee of $5.00 per rider will apply after this date.
    3. All events will be run as per rule in 2018 PCAQ RULE BOOK FORMAL GYMKHANA unless otherwise stated.
    4. Same equipment as used in Presentation must be used in Rider Class.
    5. Newcomer Rider must pre nominate on the zone nomination page.
    6. No additions or deletion or leaving the arena between pres. & R/Class.
    7. All Riders MUST participate in the Mounted presentation.
    8. Riders must not leave the grounds until after presentation unless permission given from the CHIEF STEWARD – Julie Lynham
    9. Competitors must produce their 2018 PCAQ Membership card or they will not ride. Horses must be ridden at a walk at all times when not competing. This includes the car park areas.
    10. DISPUTES: All complaints should be made to the Chief Steward. Disputes committee will adjudicate accordingly. The complaint must be lodged in writing within 30 minutes & be accompanied by a fee of $50.
    11. By nominating for this Event competitors agree to allow Met. Zone 1 to use any photos taken of them at the Event for promotional purposes on their web
    12. Clubs to provide a steward/ penciller and manager for the day.

    • Neither the organising committee of any contest to which these rules apply, nor the PCAQ, accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
  • Reservation of Rights

    The Organisers reserve the right:
    (a) to cancel any class or event.
    (b) to divide any class.
    (c) to alter the advertised times
    (d) to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason
    (e) to transfer competitors between sections of a class
    (f) to combine classes if less than 3 competitors

  • BioSecurity

    In the event of horse movement restrictions, each participant will be responsible for the care, maintenance and cost of their horse/horses. Including and not limited to feeding, watering and vet cost for the time of the restrictions.

  • Conflicts in Program

    Where conflicts or discrepancies appear in the program, the information contained in this website will be considered the definitive version.  It is the competitors duty to check this site regularly prior to the event.
